INGREDIENTS

300 g tofu, pressed and cubed
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, pureed
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
100 ml water
Press tofu to remove excess moisture for better texture.
Adjust spices according to your taste preference.

Instructions

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
Stir in ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
Add tomato puree and cook until oil separates.
Mix in turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt.
Add cubed tofu and gently mix to coat with the spices.
Pour in water and simmer for 5–7 minutes.
Sprinkle garam masala and mix well.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
