INGREDIENTS

400 g tofu, pressed and cubed
2 tablespoons oil
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, pureed
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
2–3 green chillies, slit
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 teaspoons coriander powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
200 ml coconut milk
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Press tofu well to remove excess water for better texture.
Adjust spices according to your taste preference.

Instructions

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
Stir in ginger-garlic paste and green chillies; cook for 2 minutes.
Add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
Mix in turmeric, coriander, and cumin powders; cook for another minute.
Add the cubed tofu and gently mix to coat with spices.
Pour in coconut milk and season with salt; simmer for 10 minutes.
Sprinkle garam masala and cook for another 2 minutes.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
