In a mixing bowl, mash the boiled chickpeas until slightly chunky.
Add ground oats, flaxseed meal, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, garam masala, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well to form a dough-like consistency.
Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Fry the patties for about 4–5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Toast the burger buns lightly on the same pan.
Assemble the burger by placing a patty on the bun, adding sliced tomatoes, cucumber, and garnishing with fresh coriander leaves.
Serve hot with your favourite chutney or sauce.
