INGREDIENTS

200–250 ml coconut oil
20–30 g nutritional yeast
1–2 g turmeric powder (optional, for colour)
Salt to taste
Store in a cool, dark place to maintain freshness.
Use this vegan ghee in cooking or as a spread.

Instructions

In a small saucepan, melt the coconut oil over low heat.
Once melted, add the nutritional yeast and stir well to combine.
If using, add turmeric powder for colour and mix thoroughly.
Season with salt to taste and remove from heat.
Allow to cool slightly before transferring to a glass jar for storage.
